THE HIGHLY ANTICIPATED NEW ALBUM: WHEN FAITH FEELS FAR - out now

MOBO Award-winning rapper and chart-topping Christian artist FAITH CHILD is proud to unveil his long-awaited and highly anticipated third studio album WHEN FAITH FEELS FAR. Backed by the Official UK Christian and Gospel #1 single ‘Oluwa Is Involved’, as well as the recently released track ‘Wildfire’ featuring GRAMMY Award winner Erica Campbell (Mary Mary), When Faith Feels Far is Faith Child’s most candid body of work yet, offering an honest reckoning with doubt, unanswered prayers, grief and the stubborn return of hope after the loss of his father. Written for the moments when belief feels out of reach, the album sits in the tension between wrestling with God and resting in Him, offering songs that comfort, challenge and ultimately lift. It’s a faith record for real life – vulnerable, unpretentious, and laser-focused on the hope and light that remains.

Across the 15-track offering, Faith Child tells the truth in real time. On ‘Good Mourning’, he tackles the paradox of praying for healing while preparing to say goodbye, and ‘Unbelief’ sees him drawing on the scriptures in Mark 9 to give language to faith under pressure, while ‘Church Hurt’ with spoken-word artist Briggs the Wordsmith, and ‘A Million Miles’ extend empathy and apology to those wounded by the faith community. Faith confronts prejudice and cycles of violence on ‘Stereotype’ and ‘Older’, while joy breaks through on ‘Oluwa Is Involved’, which testifies that every win belongs to God, and ‘Holy Place’ turns daily obedience into anthem, with tracks like ‘Cardio’, ‘Fast Life’, ‘New Era’, ‘Flexodus’ and ‘Creator of the World’ threading themes such as restoration, discipline, renewal and worship through gripping verses and infectious ear-grabbing hooks.

Sonically, When Faith Feels Far moves with Faith Child’s signature fluency - rap, gospel, electronica, afrofusion and pop music are woven into lush, expansive, forward-thinking production from the likes of Komenz (Shakka, Goldlink, Melvillous), Alex E (Labrinth, Hamzaa, Blinkie), Tytanium (Joeboy, Moelogo) and GKiD (Guvna B). Meanwhile, the album’s stellar guest list, from gospel legend Erica Campbell and Maverick City Music alum Joe L Barnes to fellow MOBO Award winner CalledOut Music and rising star Marizu, help to amplify Faith’s uplifting anthems, reflective confessionals, and his overarching message of hope. Described by Faith Child as companion and catalyst, music for the valleys and victories, When Faith Feels Fear is a project unafraid of the dark, anchored in the light, driven by hope, and determined to leave listeners stronger than it found them.

Faith Child Collaborates with Gospel Icon Erica Campbell on New Single ‘Wildfire’

2025 has been a landmark year for Faith Child, kicking off with two chart-topping singles that dominated the Christian and Gospel charts while making waves in the mainstream entertainment space.

Ahead of his highly anticipated album release, Faith teams up with Erica Campbell, Grammy Award–winning artist and one-half of the gospel powerhouse duo Mary Mary, on his new single ‘Wildfire’.

“I’ve always been a champion of all things good. Bad news is quick to spread, but I want to change the narrative and bring faith, hope, and God’s love to the forefront, to let that spread like wildfire,” said Faith. “I grew up listening to Mary Mary and love how bold they’ve been about their faith, especially outside the four walls of the church. Working with Erica on this song makes it extra special.”

Erica Campbell, known for chart-topping hits like ‘Shackles’ and her acclaimed solo career, brings her signature blend of gospel and R&B to the collaboration, amplifying the song’s infectious, feel-good energy.

The release follows Faith’s singles ‘Holy Place’ and ‘Oluwa Is Involved’, and precedes his upcoming album When Faith Feels Far, an honest exploration of grief, doubt, and the hope found along the journey. ‘Wildfire’ marks another milestone in Faith’s career, seamlessly merging artistry with purpose.

NEW MUSIC: Faith Child and Marizu Team Up for Afrogospel Summer Anthem – ‘Oluwa is Involved’

Faith Child expands his sonic landscape in his latest single ‘Oluwa is Involved’, a dynamic collaboration with fast-rising Afrogospel talent Marizu. Bursting with rhythm, gratitude, and faith, the track arrives just in time to soundtrack the summer with its infectious energy and message.

Rooted in Faith Child’s Nigerian heritage, the title comes from the popular Yoruba phrase, ‘Oluwa is involved’, meaning “God had a hand in it.” The expression reflects the heart of the song, a public declaration that behind every success, talent, and opportunity is the hand of God.

“‘Oluwa’ means God,” Faith Child explains. “And in Nigeria, when we say ‘Oluwa is involved,’ it’s our way of giving credit to God for what’s happened. One of my favourite verses is Matthew 5:16 -  ‘Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.’ This song is us doing just that. Whether on stage or behind the scenes, we want to reflect the light back to the source.”

With Marizu’s smooth vocals blending seamlessly with Faith Child’s high-energy delivery, ‘Oluwa is Involved’ fuses Afrobeats, gospel, and urban sounds into a celebration.

The single is a taste of what’s to come from Faith Child’s upcoming studio album, scheduled for the summer.

NEW MUSIC: Faith Child and Joe L Barnes join forces on new song ‘Holy Place’

A collaboration between the UK and US, Holy Place is an anthemic celebration of life and faith from London rapper, Faith Child and American singer, Joe L Barnes.

Driven by live instrumentation, choral vocals and witty lyrics, the duo are in their element as they unite modern Gospel and Rap.

“If He hadn’t resurrected then it would have been a different tale. It was a dark (k)night when he paid the Christian bail/Bale.” quotes Faith, as he recites the lyrics. “I mean every line and lyric. God’s love has changed my life, it’s given me hope, it’s given me a future and I want to share that joy with the world. ‘Holy Place’ is a celebration of life in Christ and I’ll proudly shout it from the mountain tops.”

Winning the hearts of listeners with songs like ‘Promises’ with Maverick City Music, Grammy award-winning Joe L Barnes sonically invites us into a new dimension of his musical expression of faith.

Released ahead of Faith Child’s upcoming studio album, ‘Holy Place’ ushers in a new era of music from the MOBO award-winning London rapper.

In recent years, we’ve seen collaborations across the continents, fusing cultures and customs, ‘Holy Place’ is set to be a landmark global moment in Christian and Gospel music.

Faith Child featured in BBC One documentary - Young, British and Anti-Abortion.

Having survived almost being aborted, film-maker Poppy Jay interviews Faith Child about his birth story and views on the current rise of abortions in Britain.

"From everyone I've met so far, Faith Child is the one to me that has the most impact. He's so friendly, he doesn't judge, he doesn't condemn women who do, he gives nuance. I can see him influencing a whole generation to take on an anti-abortion stance." - says Poppy Jay.

Faith Child Headlines Slovakia's Festival Lumen

Returning to Festival Lumen, after last playing the festival 10 years ago in 2014, Faith Child put on an electrifying performance in the town square of Trnava, west of Slovakia.

Playing a 60-minute set, Faith headlined the festival with a high-energy performance, playing the crowd favourites including Over Me, New Era, Tunnel Vision, Cardio, Amen and Creator of the World.

Sporting the Slovakian flag, Faith felt right at home. “Slovakia is home to me. I’ve been performing in Slovakia since 2012, so over time I have become fond of the music, people and culture. I love what God is doing in this wonderful country and it’s an honour to be a part of it.”

Reminding the festival goers that God has a plan, purpose and future for them, Faith performed a rendition of popular worship song, Yeshua, and prayed for the nation. “I love being able to carry a message of hope in my music. Music is a powerful tool, and once you put God in the mix the possibilities are endless. I enjoy breaking the stereotype that music with a message is boring. Hearing testimonials of people no longer wanting to self-harm and wanting to live a life of purpose as a result of coming to a Faith Child concert will always bring me joy. It’s the reason I do what I do. To point people to the one who gives life and life to the fullest. I’m just a vessel. As always, to God be the glory!”
